longlive is a time machine through Taylor Swift's eras — a scrubbable timeline where every moment is sourced and dated, back through all twelve of them.
It lives on its own domain: longlivets.com.
What you do with it
You drag through time and the moments come with you. The timeline is a scrubber: pull it and an era unspools underneath, moment by moment, each one dated and attributed. Above it sits a ridge that bulges where the most happened, so a decade of a career has a shape you can see before you have read a word of it.

Filters, for the thing you actually came for
Nobody arrives wanting everything. The timeline filters down to the strand you care about:

Threads
The timeline is chronological. A thread is the other axis: one storyline at a time, across every era.
Pick a thread and the site pulls the moments belonging to that story out of ten years of chronology and lays them end to end — so a narrative that was scattered across four eras reads as a single line. Each has a follow control to stay with it.
This is the feature that answers the question a timeline cannot: not what happened in 2019, but how did this particular thing develop.
Eggs
The secrets she plants. Fan-culture's word for a deliberately placed clue, and a category the timeline treats as its own — because the interesting thing about an egg is not only what it was, but when it was planted and what it later turned out to point at.
Every moment is sourced and dated
This is the discipline the whole project is built on, and it is the same one behind 4a: nothing is asserted more confidently than its source supports.
Entries carry their date and their attribution. And where a story is a widely-discussed fan interpretation rather than a confirmed fact, the timeline says so on the moment itself — marked unconfirmed, right there, rather than in a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that nobody reads.
That distinction is the entire reason the project is worth building. A timeline that quietly mixes reporting with theory is a rumour with dates on it. One that marks the difference lets you enjoy the theory as a theory, which is what a fan wanted in the first place.
What a moment actually looks like
Rather than describe the format, here are two real entries from the timeline, in the shape the site shows them.
October 3, 2025 · Career-defining · Music
The Life of a Showgirl arrives: 12 tracks, Max Martin and Shellback, one guest. Written and recorded in Sweden between European Eras Tour dates — her first full album with Max Martin and Shellback since 1989 and reputation.
August 24, 2026 · Relationship
Adam Scott on the wedding: "at its core, it just felt like a regular wedding". The actor, a guest at the July 3 wedding, told TODAY that for all the Madison Square Garden scale — "more people than were at my wedding" — the night felt ordinary, and that everyone teared up.
Four things are doing work in each of those, and they are the whole format:
- A date, precise to the day, which is what makes the timeline scrubbable at all.
- A category — the filters above — so the same era reads differently depending on what you came for.
- A short line that says what happened, written to be read at scrubbing speed rather than to be comprehensive.
- A second line with the substance and the attribution: who reported it, and where. The first entry names the collaborators and the recording circumstances; the second names the outlet.
And where an entry is a theory rather than a fact, it is marked Unconfirmed, on the moment, in the same place your eye already is. That is the one piece of formatting the whole project rests on: a reader scrubbing quickly should never have to wonder which of these two things they are looking at.

Its privacy policy and terms of use live there too, for the same reason.
What it is not
longlive is an independent, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Taylor Swift or her representatives. The site says so itself, in as many words, and adds the necessary companion: all narratives are widely-discussed fan interpretations, not confirmed fact.
It was previously called swift2, which is why that name turns up in older references.
Who builds it
longlive is built by JW Labs LLC, the same company that makes 4a — different subject, same shape of problem: a large, scattered body of real source material, a reader who wants a path through it, and a hard rule about provenance.
